Gareth Bale included in Wales' squad for Bulgaria
Tottenham and Welsh defender Gareth Bale has been selected in the Wales squad for the Bulgaria trip, regardless of his knee and thigh injuries. However, he will travel will travel for the 22 August friendly to be held in Bourgas. This match will be in preparation for their September's Euro 2008 fixtures against Germany and Slovakia on September 2nd and 12th.
Wales drew 0-0 with Bulgaria in a friendly at Swansea's Liberty Stadium in mid-August last year, and have won only once in five previous meetings against Bulgaria.
