Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov will miss Bulgaria's friendly against Wales on Wednesday following an injury. He got injured in his knee during his side's 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday and is likely to be out of action for at least three months. The Bulgarian was carried off on a stretcher after falling awkwardly while challenging for a header in the sixth minute of Sunday's derby. Bojinov joined Manchester City from Italian side Fiorentina only a week before the start of the Premier League season. Manchester City top the league with a maximum nine points. He has been included in the Bulgarian squad by coach Dimitar Penev as a replacement of injured captain Dimitar Berbatov. But now Bojinov will miss Bulgaria’s friendly match on Wednesday and almost certainly Bulgaria's Euro 2008 Group G qualifiers against Netherlands and Luxembourg next month.JUMPTV together with SPORT FIVE – Europe's leading sports rights marketing company, is glad to present the long awaited European Championship second round qualifying matches (June 2 - Nov 21) for EURO 2008 to all the true soccer fans from all over the world!
